Trusting that the rain will have passed and the stars will be shining, Thursday July 8th, will be a perfect night for one of the San Antonio Botanical Garden’s Concerts Under the Stars. For merely $5, you and your friends or family can experience a relaxing evening of great entertainment.
This concert’s performers comprise the group called Colaó. “Colaó is slang derived from the Spanish word “colado” which means mixed. With Puerto Rican, Dominican, Mexican and Cuban influences, Colaó is the best way to describe this band which focuses on authenticity and reverting back to the early fundamentals of Latin music. Individually hand picked for their musical talents, almost all of the Colaó members have at least ten years of playing professionally around the world.” (quoted from the S.A. Botanical Gardens website)
Just grab a lawn chair and wear summer clothing. No food or beverages may be brought in (though concessions will be available), so naturally we recommend a stop at one of our $5Dining restaurants along the way. No matter what part of the city you are driving from, we have a convenient dining spot for you to enjoy. (Simply scroll to the Google map on the San Antonio page.) The gate opens at 6:00 p.m. with the concert beginning at 7:00 p.m. Enjoy!
